Lamplighters Annual Meeting Registration – $500.00
Please register for the annual meeting. Registration deposit is $500 per person ($500 for Lamplighter and $500 for Flame = $1000 total for deposit). The balance due for the meeting will be sent after the meeting.

Meeting location: The Hotel Captain Cook, Anchorage, Alaska

**If you plan to cancel your trip, please call the Hotel Catain Cook to cancel your room and also email Helayne regarding your registration.

The time isn now for our 2025 Annual Lamplighters meeting in Anchorage, Alaska! We have put together what we hope you will find an interesting agenda and some exciting adventures as we all make new memories with our Lamplighter family. (Please see the agenda below.) Our weather can be variable in Alaska in July but averages in the mid-60's. We suggest a strategy of "layering clothing" for our outdoor activities; especially for Friday July 18th which will be our main outside day of exploring. We can't wait to welcome all of you to our home state of Alaska and the Last Frontier!

THURSDAY, July 17th (Day 2)

7:00 AM Breakfast for Lamplighters in Adventure Room: lower-level lobby

8:00 AM TO 10:30 AM-Lamplighters Scientific Session in Adventure Room: lower-level lobby

10:45 AM - Lamplighters meet in the lobby to board a bus to depart for Alaska Aviation Museum. 4721 Aircraft Drive, Anchorage.

7:00 TO 8:30 AM- Breakfast for Flames in Club Room 1 : Tower 1, 10th floor. Elevator by Main Entrance.

8:45 AM- Flames meet in the Lobby for activity departure on the bus to David Green Furriers, 434 W. 4th Ave, Anchorage. Judy has arranged a tour, informational session and shopping opportunity.

10:45 AM- Flames depart David Green Furriers for the Alaska Aviation Museum. 4721 Aircraft Drive, Anchorage

THURSDAY, July 17th Afternoon:

1:30 PM- Lamplighters and Flames depart Alaska Aviation Museum on a bus to William Jack Hernandez Fishery, 941 N. Reeve Blvd., Anchorage.

1:45 PM-Biologist tour of Fishery.

3:30 PM-Depart Fishery on bus back to Captain Cook Hotel

4:00 PM TO 5:30 PM Free time for rest or exploration at hotel

THURSDAY Evening:

5:30 PM Meet in lobby to depart on Buses from Captain Cook Hotel to the Bridge Company Restaurant, 221 W. Ship Creek Ave, Anchorage

6:00 PM TO 7:00 PM- Reception

7:00 PM TO 9:00 PM-Dinner buffet

FRIDAY, July 18th (Day 3) Morning:

7:00 AM TO 8:30 AM Breakfast for Lamplighters and Flames, altogether, in Aft Deck: Main level lobby.

8:30 AM TO 10:00 AM- Eli and Judy give a talk and introduction to the adventure for Friday and Saturday. Scientific and Flame talks.

10:15 AM Meet in the lobby to depart on buses for journey along Turnagain Arm. Bring: cameras, jackets, sunglasses, rain jacket, warm jacket and walking shoes. Men bring or wear a collared shirt or sweater for dinner. Weather will be unpredictable.

10:45 AM-Stop at Beluga Point for group picture

11:30 AM-Lunch at Turnagain Fish Company, 27957 Seward Hwy, Indian, AK.

FRIDAY Afternoon:

1:00 PM-Depart Turnagain Fish Company on bus to Alaska Wildlife and Conservation Center.

1:30 PM-Arrive Alaska Wildlife and Conservation Center where we will have a guided tour and time for shopping

3:00 PM-Depart on bus for Alyeska Hotel

3:45 PM-Arrive Alyeska Hotel.

4:15 PM-Board Tram to visit the Ski museum at top of Tram. Explore the top of a mountain.

Friday, July 18th Evening:

5:30 PM-Cocktails at Alyeska 7 Glaciers Restaurant

6:00 PM-Dinner at Alyeska 7 Glaciers Restaurant

8:15 PM - 9:00 PM Tram back down from Alyeska

9:00 PM-Depart Alyeska on bus to Captain Cook Hotel

10:00 PM-Arrive at Captain Cook Hotel

SATURDAY, July 19th (Day 4)

Morning:

7:00 AM TO 8:00 AM Breakfast for Lamplighters and Flames, altogether in Aft Deck: Main level lobby

8:00 AM TO 10:30 AM-Scientific and Flames talks in Aft Deck: Main level lobby

10:30 AM TO 12:00 PM-Lamplighters and Flames Annual Business Meeting - Aft Deck: Main level lobby

12:00 PM TO 1:30 PM Lunch on your own! Suggestions:

The food truck is really good for Mexican food. It is right across from the Captain Cook Hotel.

Simon and Seaforts has a great view and would be good for either lunch on Saturday or Brunch on Sunday. A nice view and interesting bar. Also close to Captain Cook.
