Lamplighters Orthopaedic Association (LOA) Inc. is an 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that meets and corresponds together from time to time for the disclosure of scientific and clinical matters of interest to the group.

The members of the Orthopaedic profession are "Lamplighters". Their spouces or significant others are known as "Flames".
